Kaun Banega Crorepati 10 Winner – Binita Jain, ₹ 1 Cr.(2018)

The show started airing on Sony TV from 3 September 2018. The tagline for the season is Kab Tak Rokoge. In this season, the Phone-a-friend lifeline was replaced with the Ask The Expert lifeline.

Binita Jain from Assam win Rs 1 crore. she is tuition teacher, Binita first contestant on the Kaun Banega Crorepati 10 to win Rs 1 crore.

Kaun Banega Crorepati 9 Winner – Anamika Majumdar (2017)

KBC ninth season was aired in August 2017 airing on Sony TV. The tagline of this season was “Jawaab dene ka Waqt aa gaya hai”. There are 16 question format in this season, where the first 10 questions are timed (45 seconds for the first five questions and 60 seconds for the following five questions), The 50:50 lifeline replaced Double Dip and the Three Wise Men lifeline was replaced by the Plus One, Phone-a-Friend introduced video calls. In case if the contestant reaches the 16th question (Jio Jackpot Question), then the contestant cannot use the remaining lifelines.

Kaun Banega Crorepati 8 Winner – Achin Narula and Sarthak Narula, ₹ 7 Cr.(2014)

This season aired in July 2014.The highest winning prize of this season was also 7 Crore. Shooting of the entire show was held in Surat except this all other season was shot in Mumbai. The number of questions reduced to 14, the Double Dip replacing the 50:50, as well as the Flip being replaced by the Triguni  lifeline. The Phone-a-Friend was shortened down to 30 seconds and the original Fastest Finger First system.Brothers Achin and Sarthak Narula created history on “Kaun Banega Crorepati” by winning prize money of ₹ 7 crore in Season 8.

Kaun Banega Crorepati 7 Winner – Taj Mohammed Rangrez, ₹ 1 Cr.(2013)
The seventh season (called KBC 7) was also hosted by Amitabh Bachchan and tagline used for the season was “Seekhna Bandh Toh Jeetna Bandh”. The total prize money was 7 Crore, and the number of questions increased from 13 to 15.
The season had a few changes, including a new lifeline called Power Paplu. This lifeline allowed the contestant to reuse a lifeline that was previously used on another question.Taj Mohammed, a history teacher by profession was the first contestant to win ₹ 1 crore in season 7 of KBC. He utilized the money in his daughter’s treatment for partial vision impairment, bought a house and funded the marriage of two orphaned girls.
Kaun Banega Crorepati 6 Winner – Sunmeet Kaur, ₹ 5 Cr.(2012)

Sixth season was also hosted by Amitabh Bachchan and aired in September 2012, telecasted on Sony TV. The tagline used for the season was “Sirf Gyaan Hi Aapko Aapka Haq Dilata Hai”. This season retained the 13 question format of the previous season. The season ended in January 2013. Sunmeet Kaur was not allowed to pursue a career in designing by her in-laws despite a degree in fashion designing. But she did not give up on her dreams and work hard. She started to take tuitions for children, and the knowledge gained led her to win ₹ 5 crore in KBC.

Kaun Banega Crorepati 5 Winner – Sushil Kumar, ₹ 5 Cr. (2011)

Fifth season was aired in August 2011, and hosted by Amitabh Bachchan. Compared to the previous season, there was only one change that there was only a single milestone (the Padao) that the contestant chose. The tagline used for the season was “Koi Bhi Insaan Chota Nahi Hota”.This season introduced a play game at home segment called “Ghar Baithe Jeeto Jackpot”. This contest allowed home viewers to send an answer to a question via SMS during the show, with 1 Lakh Rupees going to the randomly picked winner, who can double or triple this amount by correctly answering further questions.Sushil Kumar becoming the first contestant in the show’s history to win ₹ 5 crore on the hot seat.He was a computer operator from Motihari in Bihar.He spent it in building a house, buying farmland in his village.

Kaun Banega Crorepati 4 Winner – Rahat Taslim, ₹ 1 Cr. (2010)
The fourth season KBC 4 was hosted by the returning Amitabh Bachchan and started in October 2010. The tagline of the season was “Koi Bhi Sawaal Chota Nahi Hota” and show moved from STAR Plus to Sony TV. The total prize money for this season was 1 Crore, and a jackpot question for 5 Crore. The fourth season of the show was highly successful due to the return of host Amitabh Bachhan.Rahat Taslim was preparing for her medical entrance examination when she was married off. She won ₹ 1 crore and opened a garment showroom in a mall in Giridih, where she lives.
Kaun Banega Crorepati 3 Winner – No One Wins (2007)

Third season of KBC aired in 2007 and hosted by Shahrukh Khan. The show started well but the show’s ratings dropped significantly due to the change of the host. Show telecasted on STAR Plus. The season ended in April 2007.

Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC Junior) 2 Winner – Ravi Mohan Saini, ₹ 1 Cr. (2005)
Second season was aired in August 2005, after four year, and renamed Kaun Banega Crorepati Dwitiya or KBC 2 telecasted on STAR Plus. In this season, the top prize amount was 2 Crore Rupees. This season also hosted by Amitabh Bachchan. It was abruptly ended by STAR Plus after Amitabh Bachchan fell ill in 2006. Ravi Mohan Saini was only 14 years old when he participated in KBC Junior in 2001 and winning ₹ 1 crore. He was a class 10 student at that time.
Kaun Banega Crorepati 1 Winner – Harshvardhan Nawathe, ₹ 1 Cr. (2000-01)

First season of KBC aired in July 2000 hosted by Amitabh Bachchan, his first appearance on Indian television. Show telecasted on STAR Plus. Show offered contestants the chance to win 1 Crore Indian rupees. The season ended in 2001. The show was well received in its first season. 27 year old Harshwardhan Nawathe win ₹ 1 crore in the season. When he got a call for the audition of KBC he was preparing for Indian Civil Services at the time.
