Popular singer Arijit Singh’s fan Nihal Tauro is the top 15 contestants of Indian Idol 2020 – Season 12. Nihal follows Arijit Singh in his songs. Nihal Tauro landed “dil sambhal ja zara” and the show’s judges during the auditions of Indian Idol 2020 season 12.
Nihal participated in many musical reality shows at an early age and gained popularity. Nihal was one of the finalists of Zee Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Season 15 in Kannada. Nihal also captured the Voice of Udupi title. He has participated in several reality shows and received honors several times. He also did over 200 stage shows in India, Bahrain, Kuwait and Qatar. He recently performed as an Indian Idol 2020 audition contestant. During the spot selection, he achieved the Golden Mike twice.
Nihal was born on 21 February 2000 to Harald Tauro and Presila Tauro and hails from Bangalore. His father also sings good songs and he works in the bank. He has a mother, grandmother and a younger brother. In addition to being a music enthusiast, Harald is an outstanding writer and musician who developed his interest in music since Nihal was a child.
Nihal is the biggest fan of singer Arijit Singh. Taking inspiration from none other than Arijit Singh, Nihal left no stone unturned as he gave a terrific performance in front of the supremely talented judges in Indian Idol 2020 – Season 12.
On the stage wearing a live plant locket, Judge Neha Kakkar asked her about it, So he replied, I believe that humans are always under stress and the locket of this living plant gives me peace and positivity.
Judge Himesh Reshammiya was overwhelmed by Nihal’s performance and said during the show, “I am very impressed by the way you sang today and to help build your own identity in music.” The same Nihal’s luck gave way to him as he also shared the stage with Judge Neha Kakkar and sang the song Khamoshiyan. To this Nihal Tauro says I can’t believe that Himesh sir believed in me and offered me a song and I could sing with Neha Maam. Performing on Indian Idol is a dream come true and it is something that I cannot write in words. I am grateful to them.
Nihal Tauro lent his voice for the cover version of tere sang yaara, originally composed by Arco Pravo Mukherjee. The song garnered nearly 2 million views on YouTube. He has also worked with popular musicians Hamsalekha, Karthik Sharma and V Sridhar Sambhram. Apart from Kannada, Nihal has also worked in Tulu and Konkani film songs and music albums. In 2020, he performed his voice in the song Love Mocktail by Raghu Dixit and End Nene Yendigu.
